- benmc - 05-29-2008 Hi All I am just about to place an order for my Comfort system. Comfort will be used as an Alarm and will also form part of a Home Automation system with CBUS. The plan is to install Comfort in a central location and run all wiring back to this point Comfort Gen 2 Untra II Panel Backup Battery KP04 Main Keypad Door Phone Phone Protection Board CBUS Interface Ethernet Module - UCM01/ETH Now what is not obvious to me is how all the part physically fit together. Can all the above be located in the Main Panel? Now thinking about zones Initially I will need about 10 zones but this may increase over time if I put magnetic sensors on each window. So I will need to add extra zones. So what is the best way of doing this. Do I go for a Slave Expansion Panel? Or Unibox? I am confused about this, can anyone help? Regards Ben - admin - 05-30-2008 The keypads and door station cannot be mounted inside the main panel The Phone protection board, battery, UCM/CBUS and UCM/Ethernet can be mounted in the main enclosure You also need the LEM01-M2 which mounts on top of the Comfort PCB If you use the new DS01 shown in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum25/1032.html then you need to have a DM02 as well which may not fit into the same enclosure You can get another EN03 enclosure for these addtional modules. Thi sis the same enclosure as the main Comfort except it is empty |
