Hi
I have a problem, my system is down (comfort Gen II).
Not sure what the problem is.
All my SCS is blinking when I press them
There is no voice feedback from the keypad, the keypad has defaulted to a date of 1 Jan 00. The keypad locks after pressing a few keys.
I had a comms failure and did a system reset, does not report any comms failure but when I press any buttons on the SCS it flashes and fails to respond.
I did a cold start after powering down the AC and disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes and still no change.
I had this once before, a cold restart rectified the problem.
Now, I am clueless.
Need some help to get the system up again.
Thanks

Hi,
I shut the system down (removed AC and battery) before going to bed last night.
This morning after reconnecting, everything works normal !!
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Hi
I have the same problem again. The common factor in both cases was that we had a power outage.
Can I have some assistance please ? SomeOne !!
Thanks

Before the power outage, does everything work fine?
Any other changes you've made?
From your event log, there're communication failures in almost all modules: keypad, door station and SCS. Any other module connected?
Try to isolate the problem by unplugging all modules from the main board then add in one-by-one starting from keypad. Don't forget to set the number of modules accordingly. Wait for some time for any possible feedback before connecting other modules.

First, make sure J14 on the Comfort PCB is at the correct position. If you do not have a MPU01 plugged in for firmware upgrade, J14 must be inserted. If an MPU01 is plugged in, J14 should be open.
The event log suggests that one of the modules may be pulling down the RS485 bus. Comfort appears to be working correctly but cannot communicate with any of the modules because of the fault on the RS485 bus. The next time tis happens, disconnect the modules ONE at a time and check if the communications recovers
This will help identify the problem module
