We have two door stations, when pressed they both chime as normal. However the internal phone does not ring and the two internal keypads do not chime. With security set to "Away" the door station takes a message as per normal.
The system was originally installed in 2003 and fairly extensively upgraded in 2014.  I do not know the age of each of the boards in the unit.I am in Melbourne and we do not have knowledgeable Comfort service available (unless  there has been a recent change).  Can you suggest how I might tackle this problem.

I suspect the ringer module may be faulty. Do you know which ringer you have on the Comfort PCB? if you do not know take a  photo of the Comfort PCB and send to support@cytech.biz

Excellent.  How can I order and pay for it? Can you post it?
Also, is there a way that the door station ring can be directed to a mobile phone rather than a landline?
Regards, Robert

I sent you an email.   The door station dials to one of the programmed phone numbers in Away Mode. The phone number to dial  can be a landline or mobile number. This does not need a ringer which rings the local phone. You can also program the system to alwasy dial to the programmed number instead of ringing the local phone - in this case you do not need the ringer

The "Away" mode works well now, advice to mobiles and Skype.  I am concerned when we are at home.
The "door station" on our front gate chimes (at the front gate) but there is no "ring" on the landline phone or any indication on either of the two internal keypads.  I seem to remember that we could talk from a keypad to the front gate? We could talk from a landline phone and also open front gate and front door (but not now).

We have (more or less) moved away from using landline phones. The landline is only used to respond to the front gate.  So I was wondering mobile phones could take this over? If not we will stay with the landline.

The ringer arrived via courier and I have replaced it (with no issues).  The system has been reset and started.
When the doorbell is pressed it rings on the two keypads, but not on the landline phone.
The landline phone rings when rung from a mobile phone (via the telecom network).  The landline phone can access the Comfort system using *CODE# and can activate security, access the answering machine, and speak to the doorbell unit etc.
Can you suggest any tests I could undertake to identify where the problem with the landline phone not ringing may lie?

If the RGR05 works but does not ring the house phone, I suspect that something on the Comfort PCB is damaged. The RGR applies a high AC voltage to the phone to make it ring. You should hear a relay on the Comfort PCB clicking when the ringing signal is applied to the phone, to ensure that the ringing voltage is not poassed to the incoming telephone line. If the relay does not click, that part is probably faulty
