If there is no voice when dialing out by UCM/GSM, please check that the 5 way audio cabler is connecte between the GSM submodule and the CVM9001 DSP side. see page 2/3 of the UCM/GSM leaflet The 5 way audio cable is to be connected from J3 5-way connector for voice connectionto J54 (GSM) connector on Comfort II. Note that the UCM/GSM does not support VoLTE ie Voice over LTE. Check wth the network provider if they use 3G, LTE or VoLTE,. Try dialing in to the GSM Mobile number of the SIM card. I came across the same problem of not having any kind of audio announcement on the GSM line and found out that I do not have this 5-way cable connecting my UCM/GSM board to the Comfort Ultra J54 connector. This is a customised cable assembly. The connector is a 1 row x 5 pins with 2.0 mm pitch, allowing crimping of the wires AWG28. I doubt you will find it in your local electronics store. Show the photo to the shop Check in the original UCM/gsm box as as the cable should be incluxed.
