Wonder if anyone can help. Had the Alarm triggered this morning, got neighbour to check there wasn't a problem, so tried to set to Security off remotely but could not sign in.
I just kept getting "Wrong Code"...tried both mine and the wife's code to no avail. Ended up driving home 50 Miles to reset!!
When I got home I signed in fine as usual to silence the Alarm. I then tried signing in from local phone, no problem. Then tried again from my mobile...same thing "wrong code".
I am using an iPhone 6, could it be the system doesn't like the touch tones on the iPhone? Bit stumped and cannot think what is the problem? Going to see if I can borrow another type of phone to try remotely to see if that works.
Anybody got any ideas, very frustrating not being able to dial in...I have done it in the past!!
Regards

Hi Think I have answered my own question.
Fired up an old Nokia and remotely signed in no problem.
Did a bit of Googling and found several people complaining that DTMF doesn't work on the iphone 6 especially when wifi calling is enabled.
Time for a new phone me thinks!!

Well I thought I had got to the bottom of it, Updated the firmware on the iPhone, tried it and signed in first time, thought great. Tried again and got " Wrong Code" again and again, tried the old Nokia and get the same most of the time , occasionally get lucky, but not very often.
Then tried the local sign in, and that only works a fraction of the time.
What can be causing this?
The Alarm is not much use if I cannot reliably sign in and control remotely..just spent a lot of money on Expansion panels and UCMs and just about to buy another Expansion panel..not so sure if I cannot resolve this.
Anybody had similar issue?

Have you changed your phone line to a digital type ie ADSL or fiber optic . These non analog lines dont detect DTMF tones well. But that would not affect the local phone
First reset the tuning parameters to default in case they have been changed. Save your cclx file first
go to File > Import > Update Configuration Items
Navigate to
C:\Users\[username]\Comfigurator\defaults
Then select def34.cctx whic is the Ultra default template
a box opens up.
Check the box for TYuning Parameters. This loads the default Tuning parameters
Write to comfort and check if the problem persists

If the tuning parameters have been defaulted and you still have problems, go to Tuning Parametsrs Index 88 AFE Line In Gain for Remote Phone.
The default value is 4 The range is 0 to 20. The higher the number the higher tha gain. You need to try diferent values lower or higher than the default of 4 eg 3 and 5After ech change write selective and try again. No need to reset

Thanks Chiu,
I will try your recommendations. No, we have had the same phone line for 20 years, unless BT have changed something their end, which I doubt as we cannot get Broadband via the phone line!!
Will let you know how I get on

Hi Chiu,
Downloaded the tuning parameter defaults, they were already set at default.
Then set 88 AFE Line In Gain for Remote Phone to 5.
Tried remote sign in 5 times and managed to be successful 4 out of five times, so it seems better.
Will keep trying over next few days and see what happens.
Thanks for your help
