Hi,
I have periodic issues with my front door (zone 1) activating. I have re-terminated the door sensor and fitted a new mag switch but I have had another zone activation. I have looked at the log (below and attached) and can see that the zone is reporting activation/restores.
Does anyone has an idea the cause? I don't want to keep bypassing the zone, and leaving the zone unprotected.
Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The possibilities are
  1. There us a fault on the front door zone
  2. There is a problem with the zone wiring to the dronr door, perhaps loose or interference dfrom pther sources
If you have a spare zone, change the fromt door wiring and programming to the new zone. Or if you do not have a spare zone, exchange the zone with another one to see if the fault changes accordingly

Thank Slychiu,
Will transfer the zone wire to a spare zone and see if that makes a difference, plus re-program for the change.
Cheers,Iain

Try wiring EOL that will highlight the fault.

Thanks. Out of the UK at the moment, so will try this when I get home. Luckily access is good, even if I need to replace the cable.
Cheers,Iain
