Hi
I have a Comfort SPC II that I did an upgrade of the UCM of the Module via the Comfigurator with latest Version.
I have a ETH01 for connect to the board.
After the upgrade ir got no error, but when I see the keypad it got with no letters on the screen.
I noticed that the Comfigurstor lost the connection to the UCM.
I resented via the reset switch button and it starting displaying again.
But I have no connection to the System now..
I also opened the DSManager but cannot find the UCM
What can I do now?
How can I revert this update or connect to the UCM
.?
I dont have USB to connect directly..
Is it any issue with the Tibbo Board?
Please help me.
Thanks
Nuno

The Tibbo is probably faulty. I suggest getting a ETH03 or USB to replace the ETH01 which is more than 10 years old

And how can i see now if the firmware was upgraded correctly?
because as i am seeing in the ETH03 manual that the firmware for comfort must be Comfort firmware 7.057 , and i really cannoy connect now to the UCM

how can i ensure that is an issue with the ETH module?
how can i troubleshoot that?
any way with to see what firmware is the UCM now?
with no ETH0 access?
because eall seems working as expected .
the lights... the time programs...
everything seems ok , but only the connection i am getting error connecting to UCM
and the tibbo ds manager cannot find any device...
before the upgrade was very good working

I had a similar issue upgrading my UCM/Ethenet with an Eth01 module. As unlikely as it sounds, DS Manager stopped seeing the module after the upgrade. After a downgrade, using the cable method, it worked again and DS Manager saw the module also.

Ingo,
Thanks for your update.
so i have to buy the USB to connect to the UCM and downgrade the firmware?
What cable method can i do? i only have access by ETH01 now..
Or is it better to purchase the ETH03 ?
It will work with the ETH03 purchase?

Probably it's the new UCM version that is not compatible with the ETH01

I suggest to get USB or ETh03 submodule, do not use the ETh01 anymore (which is more than 10 years old and no longer produced)
both should work
