  • KNX Monitor mode includes Send to KNX
  • UCM/KNX2 alarms and Inputs to KNX work with Partitioned alarm system. Older Firmware does not support partitions

I have an issue on site today
Just upgraded an early C2 5.xxx to latest 7.xxx
System had been working OK for 10 years - as soon as I loaded the new firmware onto the KNX UCM 7.079 I get a fire alarm triggered from UCM02 (18) clear this and a few minutes later same thing - then a panic alert from the UCM........

Looking at the UCM it reads OK from the EPROM BUT when I download to EPROM it DOES NOT WORK the screen flashes but actually nothing happens same with reset. This is confirmed by the fact that the read still contains data even after a reset !
CAN YOU PLEASE TEST THIS OUT AS IM ON SITE AGAIN TOMMOROW and need to get it fixed.

When you Reset to Default in UCM/KNX2, it clears the KNX screen and properties to default, but it does not write to EEPROM. You have to do Write to KNX after a reset to default in order to write to KNX

Hi Chiu,
sorry for importunating you.
Does the UCM/KNX2 respond to READ requests coming from KNX BUS?
For example, if i map a Group Address to a Zone input and send a READ telegram to this Group Address, does the UCM/KNX2 respond with the current zone status?
