With the rapid increase of our remote access monitoring and upgrade service we are increasingly having to upgrade Comfort systems remotely.
As you will be aware in order to perform an upgrade the customer has to physically press F0 on the keypad.
Would it be possible to add the keypad to the user mode in comfigurator? This should then allow F0 to be activated remotely and thus give the installer a route to upgrade remotely without any physical presence on site ?

No offence, but that directly impacts on the users security sytem leaving a backdoor! Personaly I would not update anyones system without their permission and explaining why.

Well no !
Not without the end user providing their passcode.Which of course they can change at any time.
Which basically means that they ultimately have full control over their set up and who gets to use it, or service maintain and upgrade it !

It just means that the installer can update without the need for someone being present. Bear in mind that many of the properties where we are upgrading a system have many items in different locations.

That would need the user to give the installer the user code which may not be very safe (not referring to you )

The user code can be used to disarm the system, but the engineer code is not able to do so.
So the purpose of having an engineer code different from user code is to allow the engineer to program and do things without being able to disarm and without knowing the user code.

F0 is the mechanism that the user can use to grant access to the engineer.
Someone could deliberately cause the firmware upgrade to fail and cause the system to become inoperative.

I think all systems have this restriction for engineers
If the property is unoccupied, you could ask the user to turn on the Engineer  enable remotely by phone 9 for Program, 3,4,1
There may also  be other ways with the permission of the customer
