Hi,
I’m an end user who has just successfully installed a system. I’m slowly getting my heat around programming it. My question, is it normal for the siren to chirp for about a second when away mode is set. And can you program it out?

The purpose of the siren chirps is to let you know that the system is armed, and there is not an arm failure. You may disable this.
another alternative to ensure that you know the system is successfuly armed is to send an SMS using UCM/GSM
