I understand that the android and iphone are possibly different we have mainly dealt with the android.
Set upOn several android screens the set up gets to a point where everything is filled in and you are unable to proceed ( the save screen is hidden) The structure..Primarily its and ap for arming and disarming your alarm. So the structure should reflect this.In a most basic set up I don't want customers to be able to access pages that either have no relevance or do absolutely nothing.
Home automationThe screen reflects the comfigurator tiered home control menu and I can accept this, although not ideal. Would it not be great to have a simple on off button with feed back for say a light circuit or lighting scene! This would be a start. Then categorize by function or geography so sort by room or sort by function e.g. lighting or blinds or heating. We deal with a number of different manufacturers and this is all standard format now and has been for several years.
Overall Comfort is simply looking tired, its an amazing product but the front end is and always has been .......... well at best not good!

Any comments form Cytech appreciated.
Perhaps an action plan or idea of development schedules for this activity?

I suggest you look at the UCM/Pi under testing now. This has many more capabilities than the cytech app

I have come across an issue with the Android App, it no longer works! The ethernet connection works with comfigurator so I have to eliminate that from the equasion
The ip address are all correct
However it will not connect via the local network or the Internet
All the setting are what I have used over the years with this system obviously updating WAN address when required
Also port forwarding has been setup correctly,
The only thing that has changed would be firmware and software upgrades
Down graded both but still not working.
Any ideas anyoneLast edited on Wednesday Nov 20th, 2019 04:36 pm by Swiss-Toni

What error message do you get?
Does it not connect or you cannnot log in
Conections is the same as Comfigurator If comfiguaror is able too conenect then so should the app

Managed to resolve the issue, I was of the same assumption if you connect via comfigurator it must connect.
The result was that there is another router on my network which replicated the IP address causing the conflict, hence I was unable to connect via any other method other than by my PC hardwired to the network.

If you can write a little bit of code you can actually design your own app with the UCM-PI, the guys on that forum are setting up their own Apps to suit their needs, I've not attempted it yet but will do so in the near future (sometime next year) but since my requirements are simple it would be used just as a back door for when I have any problems with basic and limited functions.
