When I bypass a zone in Comfort, the event is logged in C-Bus Toolkit (Security zone isolated). I expected to see an event to indicate this when the zone is UnBypassed, but all I see is the Security Zone sealed. Is the Zone Unbypass sent to CBUS?

I am using Comfort II ULTRA (7.142) with CbusUCM Cbus2 (7.068)

If I am not mistaken, when a zone i unbypassed, it is reported as sealed or unsealed in Cbus, as a bypassed zone cannot be sealed or unsealed.
But we need to check the cbus security application documents again to confirm

I tend to agree with Chiu. When a zone is initially unsealed and you bypass it, no new zone changes are sent. If, in this state, you now seal the zone then Cbus will not know about it. Only when the zone is unbypassed does it report on the current state again which might be different to what the initial state was. In short, every zone you unbypass will report it's state to Cbus be it the same or different from the initial state when bypassed. The only other message you will get on Cbus is if you disarm the system with a bypassed zone. When you disarm the state will change to non-isolated.

I agree with you Ingo regarding the Zone state. I have a web page on an automation controller that shows all the zones (state and isolated). The Zone state (0/208/21) are updated as expected.

However,  bypassed/isolated (0/208/20) is only set at the bypass stage and results in an inaccurate display of the zone bypass status.
What I am trying to say is, it seems  (0/208/20/x) is set when a zone x is bypassed, but not cleared when the zone is unbypassed.

Unfortunately there is nothing in the protocol specification that says it has to report an unbypass event.

The only thing it does says is that when you unbypass a zone it will then report the zone state regardless if it changed or not.
