I have a Comfort II with 2 UCMs, UCM01 is ethernet UCM02 z-wave.
Today I upgraded the Controller Firmware to 7.142.
I was also adding a KP06a keypad, it is woring.

All seem to be OK until I noticed in Comfigurator UCM02 not polled. I have now tested the z-wave comms and it is not working.
I have done a reset via comfigurator as well as poweringdown and back up again. Has not helped.
Any suggestions?

I just tried 'Read from EEPROM' and get the message 'UCM 2 is not a UCM/Z-wave'.

It looks like the Zwave Firmware may be corruptedcan you try upgrading the UCM.Zwave firmware using the UCM Firmware Upgrade cable as inhttp://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1782.html

I will try that. I am using firmware 7.104 you supplied for me. I assume that makes no difference.

Can you take a photo of the  connection between the UCM and UCM/Zwave, just to make sure it is correct? It can be tricky

The connections appear to be correct
Please remove the white 4 way cable from the UCM/Zwave and leave it only connected by the programming cable
When connected in this way, the red and green leds on UCM/Zwave should blink in tandem with the D9 and D10 on the UCM
Then try the upgrade again
Go to Transfer > Firmware Upgrade > By UCM programming cable

Thanks for the reply. The 4 way isn't connected - you can see the other end in the bottom right of the picture.

Sorry you are right.Either the programming cable is faulty or the UCM baseboard may be faulty
Can you send it back to Laser to check with another cable?

I've just spoken to Laser, they have received the board but tell me they are unable to test it!
