Comfigurator 3.11.14 (Beta)
Comfigurator 3.11.14 introduces changes to simplify programming, as well as new and powerful features. This is for testing for advanced users only. It will be eventually released as Comfigurator 3.12
Categories
The Categories on the left pane have been rearranged to simplify programming.
For example, the "Security" and "Security Types" Categories have been combined into "Alarms"
"Comfort Registers" is a new category which combines screens from "Events" and "Names". It puts together all the registers in one place.
View > Modes
Added modes which hide Comfigurator features that are not relevant to the situation or are not often needed,
• Simplified Engineer Mode
•EMS (Environmental Monitoring System)
The Simplified Engineer Mode hides advanced features that are seldom needed to simplify programming;
User Mode and Engineer Mode are the existing modes
Note that this feature is not complete. Further enhancements will be made to improve it.
Show/Change Status
This allows the real time state of Flags, counters, outputs which are mapped to KNX, CBus, HIO to be seen directly in the modules and the state to be changed or controlled in the module. This is a very useful tool for testing the mapping in both directions
KNX
• KNX to Comfort
• Outputs to KNX
• Flags to KNX
• Sensors to KNX
• Counter to KNX 1 bit and 1 byte
eg in KNX to Comfort, the mapped flags and Counter status can be seen
The Show status box when checked alows the state of the mapped flag to be seen
Furthermore the state can be changed to on or off
When a KNX group is mapped to Counter, the valuye of the counter can be seen and changed
Cbus
• Lighting
• Trigger
• Enable
• Measurement (sensor)
HIO
• in channels when mapped to flags or counters
Partitions
Status Outputs - Partition Siren Outputs can be assigned for Partition 0 to 3
• Partition 0 Siren Output
• Partition 1 Siren Output
• Partition 2 Siren Output
• Partition 3 Siren Output
This means that each partition can have its own siren output, apart from the main (common) Siren/Bell output. The output can drive a Siren /Bell Output by connecting to a relay
