I hate waking up other members of the family whose numbers are programmed into my system when one of us comes downstairs at say 03:00hrs half-asleep and totally forgets that there is a alarm system to turn off!
Is there a way to omit dial-out on all numbers when Comfort is set to night mode?
ALSO
Can this done selectively - by alarm type?
(it would be sensible if a fire alert DID cause a dial out)
AND
second related question. How do I stop Comfort from dialing out once it has started?

Action "Limit Dialout" in the Alarm Response will allow dial out only to the selected phones or None
You can have a different response for each alarm, thus to disable the dial out or dial to certain numbers depending on any condition

I am at a loss as to how to achieve this. I can find response 31 "disable dial out in night mode">This covers ALL numbers. I wish to select which phone no will be dialed. There's nothing I can find in Comfigurator 3.11.13 that looks like:[img]data:

The last part of your message cannot be read
The Response 31 Disable Dialout is shown below
If you cannot find it in your file, open a new file, it should be a default in Response 31
Sprry I did not see your last past question
"How to stop dial out when it has started?"
You can stop the dial out for each group of phones 1,2 and 3-8 by signing in with your code when the phone calls your number. This will end the dial out to that grouo. The dial out will comntinue for the other grouop, so someone must sign in with thier code
It is not ythat easy to stop dial ouit due to security coincerns

Hello
Thank you for the speedy reply
The corrupt part of my message was a screen shot identical to that which you sent me.
What I cannot ‘get my head around’ is how to restrict the dial-out in NightMode to just one (out of eight) phone numbers I have set under Security/PhoneNumbers.
whilst retaining dial out to all 8 numbers in Away Mode (and Vacation mode)

I have modified the Response to show how to use Limit Dialout
The example allows dial out to Phone 1 only, ie Limit dialout to phone 1)
Simple, right?

Simple - yes. Thank you
Taking me a while to "upgrade' my brain - having only programmed Comfort for basic functions in engineer mode before-hand
AND
That was some time ago!
Out of curiosity - should it change the respone # from 30 to #15

The Response numbering in Comfigurator isd dynamic. Comfigurator finds the best response slot for the response based on the number of actions
This is because each Response slot has a fixed 8 bytes, but Responses are not fixed in length, they can be very long and overrun the next response slots. When that happens the next response slot cannot be used
Hence it is common for Response numbers to change when responses are edited
