I am planning on adding an additional Smartthings hub for a partion system and wondering if anyone has done this yet.
my concern at present is that the partion uses a different code for access and I am wondering will you have to add the additional code into the R-PI with a coma after the main code as the smarthings hub will have its own entry code programmed.

Hi

This is an interesting question. If you have 2 SmartThings Hubs I think you will need two RPi's too.

This may cause issues with discovery (as you will see all the devices) so you will need to select only the devices appropriate for the partition in use.

For alarm setting and control I may need to modify the code to act on the relevant partition - i need to look at the documentation to check this out.

Do you have a comfigurator file you can share with me so I can load it onto my lab system?

Thanks,

Matt

Would you also need 2 UCMs?

If you are refering to Etho UCM I dont see why you should need tw0 as the R-PI should be able to share the port or use the 1002 port although this may block you from using a mobile phone App not tested it yet so I cant swear by it, I think it will be a case of wait and see with this project......
