The KT03 name appears automatically as Keypad02 although you can change this it does NOT save. Same with any comments in the comments box. Also if the ID changes from the original the name still stays the same. Has anybody tried using an existing .cclx file and updating firmware etc lately... I've just managed to get comfort in a major tangle with just 2 KT03's the original file etc . It appeared to want to alter the IDs and the gave 71 trouble even though the keypad had assigned it's I'd as 8....... |

Can you send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz so we can see what keypads you have |

After taking a further look. It appears that Comfigurator had a wobbly as when I now load file I can save text and comments etc. HOWEVER It does appear that the KT03 firmware upgrade wipes the KT03 program and puts it back to the original template state...... If you save the template and load it after the firmware upgrade then the KT03 shows the firmware as the original pre firmware upgrade value? Files sent seperately |

We have tested this issue but cannot duplicate your problem 2 KT03s were connected to Comfort and your cclx file was written to Comfort and your KT03 program was written into the KT03s using Write to KT03 A Firmware Upgrade was done through the KT03 USB connector. KT03 firmwre upgrade can also be done via another UCM< but this would be much slower (15 minutes compared to 5 minutes) but the result would be the same After the firmware upgrade the KT03 pages are unchanged from before the firmware upgrade. This is true for both KT03s ID 1 and 2 You say that a firmware upgrade wipes the KT03 program and restores the original template, but this is physically impossible as the original template is not saved in KT03 If the firmware upgrade somehow deleted the KT03 program, then the pages would be blank but it cannot restore an old version of the program. Please describe all the steps that you did. On the 2nd issue if you load a saved tempate, the firmware shown on the modules page wil be an old firmware version. This is because the old frmware number is saved in the template, but it does not mean that somehow the firmware on KT03 reverted to an older version. A Scan for modules will update the correct KT03 firmware Note the difference between what is loaded onto the KT03 pages ie the program and what is actually written to KT03. The two may be different until you do a write to KT03 Also note that Write to Comfort does not write to KT03. You need to do a Write to KT03 as well |

Sre you referring to the KT03 page in Comfigurator reverting to default after a firmware upgrade or the KT03 pages in KT03 itself? Looking at the cclx file shows the comfigurator pages which may not be the same as what is in KT03 |

Can I take a wild swing at this and suggest that perhaps you did an 'Update Defaults' at some point and perhaps that downloaded defaults file wasn't as 'updated' as what was bundled with Comfigurator? I am not sure if an Update Defaults would also do KT03 template updates. |
