I have been having problems with random allocation of DST changes, so went to check the firmware version of the ETH03 module. I was surprised to find that the Comfort Service Manager doesn't find the module, whereas the DS Manager does. Could this be the root of my DST problems?
If so how do I upgrade the module to ETH03?

DS Manager is for Eth1 and Eth2 submodules as these use the Tibbo chipset and DS Manager is a Tibbo product.

Eth3 is a Cytech module and thus it works with CS Manager only which is a Cytech product.

Sound like you have an Eth1/2 then and will need to get an Eth3 replacement. You might need whole UCM/Eth3 though if you either don't have a U2 socket on your existing UCM or it is empty you'll need to add an eeprom too!. ;)

Thanks for your helpful comment.
Does that mean that the DST won't work, or is there some other workaround?

The Daylight saving time change feature is a function of Comfort firmware, not ETH02/03

ETH03 can automatically sync your Comfort time with  Internet time server, but not ETH02

You should upgrade your Comfort firmware to the latest as there may be a bug on old firmware
