I am just starting to upgrade from Rako to ZWave. I have bought a VeraLite and a bunch of Fibaro modules for lighting control setup and then I am adding in a UCM/ZWave3 to control from Comfort. My question is whether Comfort conforms to the ZWave Plus standard or not? Is this an easy yes, a no, or a "its complicated" ? |

Hi Burley, Cytech's Comfort CP9000 with UCM/Zwave is certified by Z-Wave to be compliant with Z-Wave. It is still not compliant with Z-wave Plus Last edited on Friday Oct 30th, 2015 06:32 am by |

Zwave Plus is a new hardware platform with enhanced features mainly battery life and range. Not many products use this hardware so far, see http://z-wavealliance.org/z-wave_plus_certification/ Zwave plus is backward compatible with Zwave so UCM/Zwave should work in Zwave plus networks but the new features will not apply see more information here http://www.vesternet.com/what-is-z-wave-plus |
