Hi
Has anyone used a fibaro RGBW controller? I only seem to be getting 1 ch and I was expecting at least 3 to 4, 1 Red, 1 Green, Blue, 1 Master (maybe)
I can turn blue lights on and off directly from the z-wave UCM so I know there is a working connection but it is detected as Ch1 reg name and Ch1 sen name.

If a device has multichannels it should be giving that information to UCM/Zwave during the query during the learning process
That device may not be compliantIs it Zwave certified? or designed to work with Fibaro products only, lilke some others

Hi,
Yes works fine with my vera lite. My z-wave network is going well this is just my latest addition, think I might try a few more learns.

Hi All,
I have been looking at this again and an struggling to see what parameters to set.
The instructions suggest
2) 2. As described in pt. IX IN/OUT mode allows for configuring each IN/OUT independently.
Fig 3 shows an example configuration: I1 configured as a light intensity sensor; I2 configured as a dimmer, e.g. controlling LED strip; I3 configured as a temperature sensor; I4 configured as a dimmer, e.g. controlling halogen lamp.
As shown in Fig.3 inputs set to work in analog mode require following configuration:
- Actual voltage range (e.g. 0-10V, 1-10V, 0-5V)
- Measured unit range (e.g. 0-50oC for temperature sensor)
Above information can be found in sensor's operating manual.
Device icons in the main controllers interface will reflect the above configuration settings, e.g. light sensor, temperature sensor, two OUT devices i.e. LED strips or Halogen bulbs, as shown in fig.4.
IX IN/OUT mode - 0-10V inputs, PWM outputs
Fibaro RGBW Controller has 4 controllable, analog inputs I1 - I4, allowing for 0-10V analog signal interpretation. This functionality may be used in operation with analog sensors and potentiometers. What's more, in IN/OUT mode all inputs and outputs may be configured independently, e.g. I1 may be configured as 0-10V sensor input and I2-I4 may control LED strip or Halogen lamps. Another option is to configure I1 as 0-10V input and connect 0-10V potentiometer to it, and connecting Halogen lamps to R output. At the same time, other inputs may work with 0-10V sensors.
Think I need to set parameter 8 to 1 (mode 2) but not sure.
Attached is a file I found of recommended settings for the fibaro rgbw.
Has anyone setup this device to allow comfort to control inputs via counters? or got any advise on how to do this? My main controller is vera lite.

I am just about to start my comfort AV project (cross fingers it works) but part of this will be to have a RGBW LED strip behind my TV. I have 2 options to control the settings IR and get comfort to learn the remote codes, or a z-wave controller.
Has anyone got a z-wave RGBW module working with comfort? i.e. 4 channels recognised in configurator?

Has anyone been able to confirm success in controlling a Fibaro RGBW module via Comfort?
I was hoping to use Comfort for my security alarm and sensors (PIR, magnetic & shock sensors, beams etc.) and then have Comfort also control a combination of Velbus and Zwave (Fibaro) lighting and power automation devices. But it seems from the Velbus forum that the glass push buttons (core aspect of a modern Velbus setup) are not supported and from this zwave forum it is unclear if zwave Plus is yet supported (e.g. smart locks) and if the Fibaro lighting modules are supported.
It would be a real pity if this doesn't work out as I was delighted to have found Comfort as it seemed to be the ideal hybrid solution I was looking for. We're starting first fix for wiring very soon so unfortunately looks like I may be back to the drawing board...

Hi OhPinchy,
I love comfort and I don't think you will be disappointed if you have/do invest in the solution.
I have developed many different projects over the years and am close to completing my perfect setup. Most z-wave items work well Have managed to associate virtual nodes (VN) with z-wave sensors, it is a bit difficult first time but once you get the principle it is relatively easy to sort. You just need associate the VN using your main controller in my case Veralite.
Unfortunately I have never managed to get comfort to mange a z-wave RGBW module.
