Hi
Added a RGR05 and Doorstation to a comfort II yesterday, all seems ok however have now found the internal phones can't dial. E.g. When you pick up the internal phones you can hear dial tone but the DTMF signals are not passed through to the telco so you can't actually dial someone!
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Simon

You cannot dial anyone using your own internal phones?
That should not have anything to do with the RGR05
If you pick up the phone and can hear dial tone, that means the phone is connected to the telephone line. When you press the dtmf keys on the phone, these are sent to the telephone line. Comfort will not be intercepting it
Can Comfort dial out using Dial Test?

Thanks Slychiu
So yes if I pick up an internal phone, I can hear the dial tone, but when dialing the numbers the dial tone remains and the number is not actually dialled.
I've done a comfort dial out test and everything is fine, it dials my number via the same line, and calls out OK.
So it seems that for some reasons the DTMF for the internal phones are not getting to the exchange line? But comfort can through a dial test?
The only reason I suspected the RGR05 was that I have just added it. Didn't change any other of the telephone wiring, just added that. When pressing the door phone it does successfully ring the internal phones...
Thanks for your help, Simon.

Spotted another clue - when you dial the exchange line from external (e.g. a mobile) the voice from the mobile to internal phone can be heard, but the voice from the internal phone cannot be heard on the mobile... e.g. the sound from the internal line doesn't seem to be making it to the outside line... same as DTMF...
Dial test does work though!
Any ideas??
Cheers, Simon

Are your internal phones DECT or wired? If DECT then try a wired one if you have it.
Sounds like there maybe a cable / wiring issue pre-comfort if you are unable to dial out but comfort is

Thanks all - looks like it was the DECT phone system at issue. I disconnected the DECT handsets and connected a traditional hard wired phone to the line and it worked on. Connected DECT handsets up again and stopped again. Reset DECT phones and they are now working ok! Will keep investigating! Thank you

There maybe a subtle setting on the DECT handset that caused your issue. Glad it's sorted
