The main panel was fitted in 2001, which uses a microswitch and worjs fine.
the sep was fitted in 2009 and uses a round plastic plunger switch. It came with a spare switch, which I tested too and that acts the same.
no false alarms today so I am hoping that is it, fingers crossed !
I am now thinking it could be time to upgrade to a comfort 2 pcb. Is there a comfort 3 in the pipeline ? (If there is I will wait for it, I've waited this long)

There is always new versions in the pipeline no mater when you upgrade, but it would not be for another year or 2
If you have shorted the tamper then you should not have any tamper problems again

Thanks. No tamper yesterday, yay !!
Fingers crossed it's fixed.
I'm thinking of upgrading the pcb and Ethernet ucm so I can use the comfort apps, and get away from serial port for configurator.
If the main pcb is about to be revised then I would wait (eg I saw the discussion regarding dropping x10 in favour of Ethernet). I still use x10 for remote control of garden lights, so hope it doesn't get dropped...
I will send a message to determine cost and where to buy the upgrade should I decide to proceed.
Many thanks,
John.
