I have two KT03 keypads, neither of them are responding correctly they seem to work the basic functions that are standard but the rest seem to have completely failed, ie press a button for heating and it goes to messages. the format on the keypad has not changed for years this is something that has just occurred the same thing has happened to the other keypad. disconnected/connected one at a time still failing. all automated functions are working and commands sent through mobile apps work using the same codes that ie operate heating. Have tried changing firmware and uploading pages with comfigurator.
Problem is I dont understand where the fault lies even going back to original settings the problem persists.
Any ideas out there?

This is probably because you have not done WRITE to KT03 after a change in Comfort or KT03 programming

If you  make changes to Responses in Comfort, you have  to write to Comfort and Write to KT03

If you still have problems, send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz and let us know which buttons are having problems

Have written to both KT03 and comfort, in different orders but neither way works the commands in the KT03 have not been altered for some time except on the secondary pad and even with the keypads removed and swopped round the problem still remains.
will send the file a little later on.
thanks

I have disconnected all the components from the comfort panel except output 6 (test purpose) I have removed all keypads, sems GSM etho3 card ect and then loaded the default comfort configuration file, I also loaded the default file for KT03 and added an on/off button for the output 6. and wrote that to the comfort panel and keypad via the keypad usb
the problem persists even with default values the comfort does not take the commands from either of the keypads I have tried using both keypads directly to the panel..... one at a time and the panel will still not respond, if this is a programing issue surely the keypads would respond with all the default programs.
I suspect that the fault lies somewhere between the rs485 communication to outputs (I dont think it is the keypads as I cant see how both would have exactly the same issue)
I think this maybe a case of the controller PCB going down somewhere!
What is your opinion on this, can you point out on what I maybe missing

Can you confirm that the KT03 buttons are able to work for the keypad key and arming page and Panic, but is unable to work when the button is programed as a Response?

If the keypad key buttons are working then it cannot be a RS485 or communications problem, it can only be due to the Response numbers not matching between the KT03 and Comfort. If the KT03 button is maped to a Response and you modify the Responses itmay cause the Response numbers to change, and KT03 points to the wring response number, even though you did not change anything on the KT03

Can you run the Bus Monitor from Tools, press Start to start it
Load the cclx file that you send 2015.cclx and write to Comfort and KT03

Then go to the KT03 and press just the button for Lights Lower Hall in your cclx file. This activates the Response LHTime1 (response 26). Halt the Bus Monitor, Save All  and send the saved file. This will show what Response is being called by KT03

Yes I can confirm that the KT03 works for the keypad and panic but will not work on any responses. the buttons have been mapped to responses and written to KT03 and comfort. when you press any of the responses buttons it plays message "there are no knew messages"

swiss-toni, thanks to your feedback we have confirmed the bug in Comfigurator 3.9.9

KT03 Button programmed to activate Response does not work - it sends Keypad key command instead

Please downgrade to 3.9.7 which can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/download_files.php?item_id=725

This will be fixed in the next Comfigurator

Downloaded Comfigurator 3.9.7 and the commands all kicked back in as normal so far. I didnt connect comfigurator upgrade as the cause.
Thanks Slychiu

Seems to be an issue with the latests versions of Comfigurator and KT03 keypads, commands can no longer be sent from keypad to controll X10 modules, had to revert back to 3.9.7 to correct this problem.

Can you send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz
And let us know how to trigger the x10 command which does not work
