I would like to interface Comfort with an Axis M3024-LVE Network Camera as follows:

Axis output -> Comfort input
This will enable Comfort to respond to the camera's motion detection.

Comfort output -> Axis input
This will enable Comfort to trigger camera recording when specific events occurs.

I have attached the wiring diagram for the camera connections.

As I understand, the Axis input requires pins 1 and 3 to be bridged. As Comfort provides open-collector outputs, will I need a relay module to achieve this?

Regarding the Axis output, I am a little unsure. Can pins 1 and 4 be connected to a Comfort input as is?

For Comfort Output to Axis Input, you need a relay to connect pins 1 and 3
That is the safest way, using RLY01 module. Comfort output is open colector, so it will pull pin 3 to about 1v which may or may not be low enough to trigger the axis

For axis output to Comfort input you can probably connect pin 4 direct to a Comfort Input and connect pin 1 to the zone common. according to the schematic they provide a dry contact output. Program the zone as Switch Normally Open zone type

Thank you. I have just ordered the RLY01 relay module and ACC-PLATE02 mounting plate.

I will update to confirm when it is working in case anyone else is looking to do the same.

Just a quick update:

This is working perfectly using the RLY01 for the Axis input, and a standard Comfort input for the Axis output.

Thanks again for your help with this.

Thanks for the update
I have moved this to "Faqs - Technical" forum to facilitate easier searching and access for others looking for a similar interface
