For all registered users I'm pleased to announce a new maintenance release; 4.1.2.8.
This both fixes some issues found in the previous release, adds some new capability, and also introduces a new GSM4 connector as one of the Standard Connectors.
The Application, Email and (new) GSM4 connectors are upgraded automatically when you install this version. If you have installed any of the optional connectors from my website (currently SQLServer & MySQL connectors) then you'll also need to upgrade these manually as well as in this release I've enhanced the connector framework to allow more interaction with both Comfort and the CCLX settings.

Bug Fixes/Changes
- License changes (Install/uninstall) via the ComfortClient main menu “Information\License Management†menu action did not update the run mode (Eval or Full) until the application was restarted.
- ComfortClient window icon replaces stock icon on some Infralution authentication windows.
- Updated Connector Framework API (you need to update all ALL connectors after moving to this release).
- Internal code refactoring for improved CCLX file read.
- Internal code refactoring to better handle connector developments.
- Event Safeguards are enabled by default for new Events (max 1 event in 60 seconds) for safety. Change as required.
- Resizing rotated objects would also move their origin. Now the Origin is locked to the handle directly opposite the handle being dragged such that the object correctly stays in position.
- The Events tree tab in Floorplan Object Properties is now expanded by default even if there are no currently configured connections.
- In Floorplan Object Properties, the ID lists for Comfort were not sorted in numerical order (of ID) by default.
- Comfort firmware revision, as read from the CCLX (“Discovered†was OK) file and as shown in red in the System Information window whilst the discovered versions are being requested was incorrectly shown in format X.xx instead of the correct X.xxx notation.
- AutoSave (enabled/Disabled) option was not saved to the configuration file.
- ENTER key would not have focus during keyboard entry of password in ComfortClient after a previous wrong code had been entered and the CONNECT button subsequently pressed.
- Cbus1 & Cbus2 action code sequences incorrectly included a zero prior to the last terminating byte (255) for Application types other than Lighting (type 56) for Switch Off (1) and On(121) actions.
New Features
- Connector Framework extended to allow sending of commands to Comfort and checking of status; for new GSM4 Connector.
- Floorplan Object rotation point can now be moved (but only when the object is at zero degrees at the moment).
- GSM4 Connector now included in standard distribution package.
