Hi,
Is there a best practice for installing the comfortII with slave cards
I have the following 3 cards to install alongside the comfort:
DM02 - Door station panel
LEM03-M2 local expansion module
UCM/ETH3 - UCM Ethernet interface
I notice that there is provision to install a card in front of the comfort panel as a sort of daughter card.Is that for a specific card? if not which would be the preferred one out of the 3 above?
Also how is the daughter card secured into place?
Thanks in advance for any replies/suggestions.
Avney

The LEM can be mounted on top of the Comfort PCB
The LEM comes with  threaded metal standoffs which are used to mount the LEM
You have to insert the standoffs before mounting the Comfort PCB onto the  metal box. Actually the LEM and UCMs have the same size and mounting holes so any one of the cards can be mounted on top

However this may block access to the reset switch and view of the leds.

If there is room on the base of the metal box then it is better to mount there
I think the LEM also includes a longer flat cable but cannot really remember

If there is not enough room you  can buy an extra EN03 or EN01 (smaller 310 x 350 x 95 mm)

PURCHASE ANOTHER ENCLOSURE
Comfort will very soon get very untidy. Untidy = unreliable!
Keep the DMO2 and the Ethernet module in the second enclosure.
