Known Bugs
This new firmware 7.035 fixes a problem that affects some gsm modules (rarely) Only a few users have reported this issue. The module is unable to reply to SMS messages from a programmed phone. However it is able to send SMS to the programmed phones in the event of alarms Last edited on Saturday May 10th, 2014 09:31 am by ident |

Can you clarify "some gsm modules" point; do you mean modules of the different chipset types that have been Introduced over the last few years or within certain modules of the same chipset type. My question is because this is posted at a gsm4 firmware but surely this is SIM900 chipset only? Are you saying there are different batches of these? Julian |

Yes this affects SIM900 only It is not related to a batch of product. More of the conditions of the network, eg if the network is poor It should not affect older UCM/GSMs |

I have the following issue with UCM/GSM4 (7.035) Whenever I send an SMS command to comfort the reply is the help menu main screen i.e. (1) - Help for arm security (2) - Help for control It does not accept my command for arming (11) disarming (10) or (1) (4). It always replies as above. My number is authorised for SMS arming, disarming and control. |
