We have found that for the UCM/GSM3 (produced in 2012) that repeated insertion and removal of the SIM card (perhaps while playing around or testing) may cause the UCM/GSM to be able to lock in to the network, even after reset or power off. The Busy1, Busy2 leds will flash and RDY led will not turn on to show the network is available. The workaround for this is to insert a different SIM card and let it initialise to the network (RDY turns on), then remove and put in the original SIM card. We are working on a better solution to this |
