We have few panels having the same problem the first time it was powered up (new panels from the box). LCD display returned to "wrong Text" even after downloading. These are system information:
Firmware: Comfort II Ultra
Version: 6.011
File System:34
Vocabulary No.: 0
Custom Vocabulary: No
System Vocabulary Version: 0
LCD Text Version: 0
LCD KP Minimum Version: 0
UCM Type: 10
Version: 6.008
Attempted to do Vocab upgrade, Process stopped at "0%" followed by error code 6.
What could be wrong?

System Vocabulary Version = 0 means the voice is lost
That means that there is no voice on the keypad.
You need to do a Vocabulary Upgrade to restore the voice.
See the topic at http://comfortforums.com/forum76/1623.html for instructions on how to do this

Hv tried that. Attempted to do Vocab upgrade,
Process stopped at "0%" followed by error code 6.
No Slave & Keypad was not attached during the process.
Hv tried restarted panel as well as restarted comfigurator.
Thnks.

Error Code 6 means "Failed to Erase" so this is due to a fault on the board, perhaps caused by a lightning surge
Please return to distributor for repairs

These are new boards to be programmed before installation at site. Possibilities of lightning can be ruled out. Approx. 10 out of 160 boards hv this problem. Reluctant to send back to distributor cause very slow response. Other ways to try?

Do you get error code 6 on all of the 10 boards?
We dont expect 10 out of 160 to have the fault
Can you send a few of them directly to us for testing? Can you send an email to support@cytech.biz
