Hi,

One thing I notice about the app, is that after connecting and logging in,it sometimes takes a while to update status of the various elements such as alarm status, but particularly connected modules, flags, counter status etc.

With alarm status it is not such a problem, as the led is blank, and you wait for the green or red to arise.

However, with counters, flags and modules etc, the default shows as off, so when looking there is a significant period where the status may show as off, and you may not be sure it is.Overall it creates a certain level of uncertainty.

Anyway, sorry for waffling, but I was thinking perhaps an approach for future versions of iphone and android apps etc would be to show whether the app has completed update status after ligin or not. This could be done in two possible ways

1) A status indicator on the front screen after login to show the app has received data for all flags/modules etc and finished retrieving data.
2) In the home control screen, and inputs screen have all status as blue by default until the app receives a definate status of on/off etc.

Regards,
Eamon

Currently the app is show to collect feedback, we are working on a faster update mechanism, but your idea of indication of updated status is good. we wil discuss with the developers

Thanks Ident,

Do you think something like the "blue" colour for items that have not yet been updated might be more specific ?
