If I have a UCM/GSM unit connected to my Comfort system am I able to still use the answering machine service on my analogue land line? i.e. keeping my analogue line connected. But I don't want the analogue line to be used for outbound alerts from Comfort (I want to use the UCM/GSM for that).
Also is it possible to send customised SMS messages via the UCM/GSM?
If so what level of customisation is there?

The UCM/GSM is designed to act as a backup dialer in case the telephone line is not connected. If there is no telephone line then it dial by GSM
If the telephone line is connected then it will always try that first, with the exception of SMS
To send customised SMS messages you must define a new alarm type in Security Types > Alarm Types. This alarm type should be an Idle state alarm eg Family Care alarm type 14
SMS can only be send when an alarm occurs
Alarms can be triggered by immediate active zones, panic, tamper etc or you can use a Activate Alarm action to trigger an alarm
The information reported in the SMS is Alphanumeric ID (text to identify where the message is coming from), Alarm Type Name, and Zone Name or User
Hence you can use the "alarm name" to customise the message

Thanks,
So if I disable the dial-out functionality (and hence rely on SMS) then I can keep my phone line connected for answer machine functionality?
Then I assume I can access the system remotely via both mobile and land line routes as needed?

Is it possible to send SMS request for analog value from KNX. For example I would like to send SMS and Comfort sends me back my outside temperature from KNX.

I don't think it is possible for Comfort to retrieve the analog value from KNX and send it as a sms.
But perhaps you can configure the KNX as if a certain temperature value is reached then it will send a telegram to Comfort. This telegram can then be used to trigger a certain alarm in Comfort which in turn will send a sms to you to inform that the outside temperature has reached a certain point.

Ok thanks but maybe Cytech would think about it and maybe in next release it would be possible.
If I am away from home I just want to know what is the temperature outside and mayme also temperature inside.
