Hello,
I have the following response set up in Comfigurator - FS34, comfort
2:-
If securitymode = awaymode then
autoarm securityoff
Pulse Output01 For 60
announce security camera record on
do autoarmaway [Auto Arm Away] After 30 Seconds Using Timer01
end if
The response is attached to the misc open door event so that when a
doorbell push is directed to a remote telephone in away mode, the
option 7 to open door triggers this response. E.g, disarm the
security, let the postman drop his parcel and he has 30 seconds to
leave before the security is re-armed. The announcement is a verbal
warning that he is being recorded.
However, the 'annonuce security camera record on' is causing
problems. Comfort announces the doorphone ok to the remote phone,
but pressing 7 to trigger the door - The announcement is not heard
on the doorphone and any subsequent attempt to contact comfort with
0 to talk, 7 to open or # to end the call is ignored. Physically
ending the call from the remote phone leaves comfort in the call and
the line still engaged.
If I execute the response manually, the announcement is heard and
everything is ok.
If I remove the 'announce security camera record on' from the
script, everything works ok and the communication to the doorphone
and ending the call works perfectly.
Any ideas what the issue is with the announce causing this problem?

The problem is that the intercom and voice announcement or recording cannot both take place at the same time, as these are using the Comfort Voice engine and it can process only a task involving the voice at a time
You could try using a delay before announcement so that you have left the intercom mode.
