Switch off power to the Comfort and disconnect the battery (make sure your siren does not sound when there is no power)
Remove the LEM cable and board so you can do the upgrade
Once the Comfort and UCM and other modules are upgraded to version 6 you will not have to open the box again

Proceeded as instructed and all went well.
Everything seems operational, including Ipad app.

Thank you for your help.

Can I ask what I hope would turnout to be a silly question; what is "SPC"?

If it's a type of panel/firmware I thought the only options were "ULT" or "OPT".

As I say I hope I'm not missing something obvious but knowing me..... ! :D

"SPC" is a special firmware that is used in Portugal, not for general use
Sometimes we customise certain features for customers who order in volume

As far as I know the SPC firmware can only support up to 128 responses.
