A unique and innovative feature of the KP06 is the ability to mount the same product in either horizontal or  vertical orientation.

It will cost more than a KP04, and depends on the frame you choose, it can also be bought without a frame, this allowing other frames to be used. Please check with your local distributor on pricing, see http://www.cytech.biz/dealers.php

Would the 'Mint' be a good match for a CBUS 'White' Glass DLT ?

There is an Esprit White Glass Frame which would probably be a better match.
Be warned that these Glass Frames are pretty expensive

There are many options in the LCD menu which can be changed on the keypad but not 24 hours. The Time only shows 12 hours format

Excellent news

I think that more needs to be made of the different frame surrounds available.

Palmlodge was asking abut CBUS - if you are putting CBUS next to the keypad then you will notice a difference in size colour and texture - if they are some distance apart then you may get away with it.

The european frame sizes are rather confusing and i need to get a better understanding before i relay more info - however companies such as Jung Gira Merten (owned by schneider) Siemens ABB etc (basically any of the KNX manufacturers) all offer a large selection of surrounds.

Many offer the european fitments to cover all UK outlets such as power sockets and fuse spurs. This in effect menas that ALL of your wall funniture - lighting, thermostats, alarm, multi-room audio can all be fitted with the same surround plates.

Perhaps cytech could place a few more offerings may be a basic white and SS and aluminium and a brass.....

The Gira Standard 55 Pure white and cream are available in Gloss and Matt finishes. These are good choices for the KP06 (I personally like the glossy versions), and are quite reasonlbly priced. The E2 series is alaos available in white although more costly. I believe other KNX manufacturers may have similar
Hence there is no need for Cytech to produce another white coloured frame.
One of the reasons that we designed the product this was was to allow customers to have a very wide choice of frames beyond what we can supply ourselves

INSERT - are there plans for Cytech to have a batch of WHITE INSERTS to go with white frames..

Black inserts with white frames will not work aesthetically. Surely next time your moulder does a run you can take a batch of white instead of black?

  Admin - Yes see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum105/3727.html

If you look at the pictures of the KP06 with frame, the only part of the "insert" which is visible is a small border around the LCD and keyboard submodules.
Having a black border on the modules with a surrounding white frame seems to me to be quite an attractive feature, if you look at the photos of the white and cream faceplates below. Comments from others welcome
