I'm looking to upgrade a Comfort I system which has an inset DP02 doorstation (circa 2002). My DP02 appears huge compared to the current DP02/03, so I was thinking I could reuse the existing enclosure with speaker/mike and use the new DM02 board.
Has anyone done this?
thanks,

There is a DP03X product which can be used with the DM02
You can remove the PCB from the DP03X and use in the DP02 housing. A speaker and mic alone wiill not do because amplifier circuitry is needed
The DP02 is not a Cytech Product, its voice performance for intercom is not good because the accoustic isolation in the housing is poor.
Do you intend to upgrade to Comfort II? If so then the intercom performance may not be good unless you isolate the speaker and mic inside the DPP02 housing

So, just to be clear.
The DP03X board will fit inside my DP02 (current board is 8cm width by 10cm height)
thanks!

The DP03x PCB is smaller than that

I believe it was myself that installed your Comfort system back in 2002. I have the .ccl file if you would like to contact me (it should all have been left with the documentation and probably a copy on disc (yes disc) inside the Comfort case).
We also use the DP03X in our own doorphone offering if you are interested
http://www.household-automation.co.uk/default.php?page=entry 3rd scroll page in.
Hope all is well and that your Comfort system has been OK.

Thanks (Andy?) .. I have the .ccl file (actually many versions) which has evolved over the years.
I've got the Doorphone working now with Comfort II using the DP03X board and a DM02 and replaced all the other necessary boards for a full upgrade.
Comfort has been extremely reliable over the years (good product well installed!) .. but the appeal of mobile app integration was too great, hence the upgrade.

Thanks for this glad to know you have been pleased with the product we do take great care to install the products correctly. Unfortunately may Comfort alarms are installed in a less than professional way which invariably causes problems and does nothing to enhance the reputation of what is an excellent home automation system.
Please feel free to call at any time if you need more information or advice.

Resurrecting this old thread, I still have one of the DP02 door stations insetinto my front wall.
The DP03x doesn't seem to be available any more. What are my upgrade options? Is there another PCB available that would fit the old DP02 case, or is there a similar sized doorphone available I could replace it with?
Cheers,
Keith
