When Comfort is installed in a block of flats or apartments or a gated community, a KT03 can be used in the management office or security centre to monitor alarms This requires a central Comfort system. Each apartment would have an alarm output connected to an Input of the Central Comfort The KT03 connected to the Central Comfort shows each of the input states whic represent the apartment. Any input which goes to the On state would cause a siren tone to be heard on the KT03 This would replace a customised mimic panel at a lower cost, and would have the possibiility of other features eg to call or SMS to security personnel in the event of an alarm.
