This is a list of features that will be introduced in Comfigurator 3.4.0 which should be released shortly
Note : Has now been released, download from http://www.cytech.biz/comfigurator.html?category_id=98

New Features/ Improvements
  1. Modules and Settings "Installed Modules" List (Number of UCMs, Keypads, etc) is now Read Only. To add and delete modules, go to the Modules Tab to Scan for Modules (preferred) or Manually Add or Delete modules (do this if not connected to Comfort, ie programming offline). This will eliminate the discrepancies between the numbers of modules in the two places.
  2. Related to the above, the Number of UCMs cannot be set to 0 even if all UCMs are deleted as this would prevent further UCM Access to Comfort for programming
  3. Also in the Modules Tab the ID  of each module can be changed without causing conflcts with names
  4. Time-out for Comfigurator to get a reply from the UCM changed from 2 seconds to 5 seconds (no retry) except for Vocabulary commands which are longer
  5. When the ID of a UCM eg KNX, CBUS etc are changed, Responses which send commands to these UCMs previously did not change the UCM ID accordingly. This has been fixed. The UCM ID in Modules Tab also shows as BLUE if it is referenced by any Response, just like in other places. Right Clicking will show References to the Responses which use this UCM
  6. CWM Firmware upgrade by Comfort Bus is possible (requires CWM 6.xxx)
  7. During Scanning for Modules by Ethernet, if the UCM/Ethernet is disconnected  for any reason an error message will appear in the I/O Monitor. This is because Scanning Modules over the Internet (UCM/Ethernet via Router and Port forwarding) sometimes causes error due to No response time out. This may be due to the Internet connection. If this occurs try again, or try on a dedicated Internet connection (not shared)
  8. Support for 2-way Zwave - depends on new firmware for UCM/Zwave to be released
Bugs Fixed
  1. New version of IR Learner fixed an exception when IR signal is not detected for 20 seconds
  2. Fixed some Exception occurences
Known Issues
  1. KT03 Configurator - Buttons may jump to another location when pressed, and button properties on the right pane become blank. This may happen when moving buttons around on the page and shifting buttons by pressing and holding the arrow buttons too fast. The properties  can be restored by saving and re-opening the cclx file. This is due to memory leakages. Fixed in 3.4.3
  2. No of Slaves allowed is 4, should be 5 to support 96 zones. Fixed in 3.4.3
  3. RIO status in Names > Outputs is shown as Unknown when Show Status button is checked. Fixed in 3.4.3
  4. Invalid Value for PABX Digit in a CCL file will cause an exception when the file is opened in Comfigurator 3. Fixed in 3.4.3
  5. KT03 Configurator - if sensor status is used in Buttons and sensor name is changed, the sensor name remains unchanged in the KT03 page
  6. Scanning for Modules may fail for unknown reason intermittently. When the scan fails while attempting to do Firmeware Upgrade by Bus, Comfigurator is logged out but the Firmware upgrade starts without logging in again so it fails without getting started.

Thanks Ident,

Just wondering also, mentioned it before, but are there any plans for velbus modules to be able to use the channel name for building responses as opposed to the current method which required address to be used (i posted on this previously regarding asking for similar functionality as to the way x10 devices can be selected within a response based on the module name).

Thanks,
Eamon

We do not have immediate plans for that due to limited resources. If many more Velbus users were to request for it then we may be able to fit it in in the future, and if there are more people using Velbus. It is not very well known at the moment so I hope the manufacturer starts promoting it more
It should not be a big inconvenience at this stage
