when you arm by text message, all open zones are automatically bypassed
If you enable the Bypass Zone alarm type for SMS it will send a text message for each zone bypassed (and unbypaased)

Hi Chiu
thanks for the fast response, my problem is that the zone has an intermittent fault so it is not always open when setting the system and it is in Mallorca.
When the cleaner comes to check the apartment she switches off and then on the system i then have to diall in and unset, inhibit and reset the alarm.
so if i could sent a text that would inhibit zone 6 and then arm the system that woulds be simpler and faster.
regards
Niall

Then you will need to program a home control menu to omit the zone and then arm the system using a response
Then send a text message in the format (4gca) where g is group c is control menu and a is action key of the menu

You can program comfort through the telephone to add the control menu and response via engineer menu
Or are you looking for an excuse to go to Mallorca?

The "zone auto shunt" function, in "general settings" works great for this type of problem.
