It is already possible to upgrade the system remotely via UCM/Ethernet and router configuration for port forwarding You can upgrade the UCM/Ethernet by direct connection to PC or other modules by Comfort Bus |

And pp2 !!!! I would have thought that the whole point of the upgrade exercise was to eventually get to the point where you could upgrade the comfort system (in its entirety) remotely. |

It should be noted however that opening up ports on the Internet is asking for trouble. All "sensitive" applications like the Comfort IP interface should be inside a seperate VLAN, accessible only via VPN. I'm using this router for this purpose: Mikrotik RouterBoard RB750 |
