Strange think here.
When I need to dial-in my Comfort system to arm or disarm the system for instance and I'm in a foreign country in a cellular phone roaming situation, the system doesn't pick up the call.
First time this happens I thought it should be some question with the country I was dialing from, but I've already had the same problem in other countries.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
I suspect it has to do with the format of the caller-id when in roaming (it appends the country code).
Regards,
Nino Torres

The caller ID is not important when making a voice call to the gsm
It is needed only when sending SMS to it
From overseas perhaps the caller number is not sent
But the international codes in the front do not affect the matching of caller I'd
Do you have a problem calling the number or sending SMS to it?

The prob is with calling the number.
It keeps ringing but never answers the call.

I suspect it is a problem with the network and it is not receiving the incoming call
The UCM/GSM does not check the caller ID for an incoming call, it should not care where the call is coming from. The only reason for not answering a call is if someone else is using the voice menu on a keypad or telephone.
Cal you try sending an SMS to see if that is received?
