I have a UCM/Ethernet that could do with the update. Anyone in the UK want to arrange a firmware upgrade? |

Great. I see you've implemented my request for commands for the control menu. Where can I get the protocol? Thanks, Clinton. |

I see the rs232 document has been updated with the CM command. Thanks. Is there anyway I can get the menu item text through the protocol? Cheers, Clinton. |

The menu text cannot be obtained from Comfort as they are not stored in Comfort, only in Comfigurator |

UCM 6.002 can be used to upgrade its own firmware so that you do not need another UCM with a programming cable in future See instructions at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/2283.html |

Just something I found with the new firmware, the DT command doesn't return the current Date & Time as stated by the Serial protocol documentation.DT without any parameters will cause the UCM to send the current date and time in a DT report Ingo |

You are right, that seems to be a bug that crept in due to the changes in handling date and time recently. The engineers will look at it in the backroom |

Hey, I just want to say thank you Cytech for version 6.xxx of the UCM firmware. It makes updating firmware a simple and quick task. I can finally see the day ahead when I'll be able to upgrade all of my UCM types and the mainboard firmware without having to take remove the panel cover for access and fiddle with programming cables. Hoorah!. My cover has been off so many times in the last couple of years, the 4 screws start to unscrew themselves whenever the screwdriver is within ten feet of their slots; they are that loose! Well done on a great new feature. Julian Last edited on Saturday Jun 18th, 2011 08:40 am by juwi_uk |

Universal UCM is an "external" UCM which can be upgraded by the Comfort bus if its firmware is 6.xxx |
