So for a long time I have pondered the need or the benefit for having a questionnaire, to help all parties come to a successful Comfort installation; where the process of specifying and meeting requirements happens as fluidly as possible.
So anyone started this list? Anybody got anything they wished they had been asked or had known about? Anything that would have been done / installed differently?
I could start from scratch but suspect there are already things out there.
e.g.
- I would like to know when my child has come home?
- I would like to intercom between a future workshop and the house?
- I use the garage a lot when going in and out ('****er') should I have a keypad in the garage?
- Can I mute the audio system when the door bell or phone rings?
- I have a loud central vac system. Can it be switched off when the phone rings?
- Can I have a variety of things closed and switched off when I go to night mode?
- Can I 'set back' the heating when I arm the system?
- Can I fade outside lights up when someone arrives at the house?
- Can I control power on individual wall sockets (in my new build)?
- Can the Comfort voice be switched into my audio system?
- Can I use all those spare Comfort outputs for a few low power LEDs?
- Can Comfort help with energy management in my home?
- ???
