Hi
I am having problems with recently upgraded system, been fully live since about xmas and seems to be functioning well except it has now decided to do a reset 3 times always at 23:50. It will have been in night mode for a few hours when we suddenly hear the beeps as it is setting itself back into night mode after the reset.
Each time I have to attend to it because the keypad will flashing due to "SMS trouble restore"
The log file does not show any problems before this occuring, I have looked at the responses and time programs to see if anything in the default config is doing this.
Isn't 23:50 around the time that the engineer login abilty is switched off each night?
Thanks
Phil

Engineer login is switched off at 12 00 AM
I suspect you have a response that calls itself. This is normaly the cause of Comfort resetting itself
Do you have a Time program enabled for that time?
If you cannot find anything send the ccls file to support@cytech.biz for investigation

Think I have found what is triggering this, but why after all these years is a mystery.
At 23:50 every night I download the log file, been doing this for years with my old V1 panel and now with the V2 panel. This is done as per the instructions in the RS232 documentation initiating it by sending the "E? 00".
So the puzzle is why does this work fine for years with the V1 panel but on the V2 panel 3 days out of 31 it causes the Reset?
From the timing of the Reset it seems to be occuring right at the start of the process, I could try adding some more debug code to see if any log items are arriving.
Its not a problem with the log itself because each morning after this occurs I have been manually starting the routine to download the log so I can see what happened and its always worked.
As I said its happening during night mode so we are not interacting with Comfort during this time, but I do have 3 USM's (Ethernet, CBus, GSM) so is something else triggering and it just an unfortunate timing issue?
Is there any debug mode available to Comfort so we can see a more detailed log of what is going on?
Thanks
Phil
