Hi everyone,

I've created a website for downloads to offload my NAS. I want to continue though to encourage discussion, hints & tips, support and enhancement requests etc to be posted through the Comfort Community; it's a great source of help and encouragement for us all in our journey through life with our Comfort systems!

See https://www.futurehomesoftware.com

I've tested with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome & Opera.

Cytech have also posted a link here too.  Many thanks Chiu.

http://www.cytech.biz/comfortclient.html?category_id=116

You can buy ComfortClient securely via PayPal and it'll automatically email you your license key on checkout at:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=GL52NXNXPPE68

Regards

Julian

Hi Ident

I've tried in the UK this morning and all seems fine.  Maybe there was Internet outage last night or something as the server is up.

All I can suggest is to try again. :)

Regards

Julian

Hi Nizam.vd

Thank you for downloading.

It's a .NET applications and runs on your PC. Unfortunately it is only designed for Ethernet connections (UCM/Eth) right now so you cannot connect to Comfort via UCM/USB.

Maybe I'll add that feature in future.

Regards

Julian

Hi Nizam.vd

Just to let you know I'm working on both USB and Serial connections for ComfortClient for the next release.

If you are interested in testing a beta for USB then let me know.

Julian

Hi Julian

I am very interested in trying out this software, but the links to your website are not working.

Is there anywhere else I can download the software?

Thanks

Hi Lenny

The website server is back up but are you still having problems getting ComfortClient?

Thanks,

Hi Clinton,
I'm not sure when the server switched itself off but when I tried to switch it back on this morning a big bang and burning smell.
I shouldn't complain as it's been running 24x7 for about 5 years now but I've just ordered a replacement power supply which hopefully will resolve it next week.
Regards
Ju
In the meantime if you want something I can send you direct if you want.
I'm in the middle of some big changes for the next release which will be coined v6 and include many of these;  multi-client access, client-server architecture, multiple clients (futures; i.e. mobile, web, MAC potential), making server-side code .NET 2 Standard compliant (so potential to run server code backend which is comms, business logic and floorplan factory rendering on other platforms as well ie Unix/OSX ).  That's the roadmap I'm working too anyway! Some of this is waiting on Microsoft .NETCore/Standard releases later this year.

Thanks Julian,

And wow!  It looks like you are doing some cool work.  I wish I had more time to work on my home automation.

Cheers,

Clinton.
