Hi,

I have been trying to get my 12v trigger to work with my AV system where it mutes the sound for 8 seconds when the phone rings or the doorbell goes and also mute when the phone is off the hook and restores when its back on the hook,

In princiiple i have achieved this as described, my problem is that at regular intervals i keep gettin a 1 second or so trigger (about 10min intervals) which is most annoying,

Has anyone experianced this before, i have checked and re checked and cant see why this is happening as the code appears to be written as i required.

Thanks

Can you send your cclx file to support@cytech.biz so we can see what you have done?

This is to report the results of this investigation
We have tested the cclx file using the same Comfort firmware A4.234 (Ultra I)
The output is pulsed for 4 seconds whenever 2 events occur: Phone Ring, and Doorbell pressed.
The Phone Offhook event also turns on Output 17 and Phone Onhook turns off Output 17

A tool for finding out what events trigger Responses is that those which are referenced by events are in Blue (compared to Black for Unreferenced or Unused Responses). Right Click on the Responses to see which events reference the selected Response

We did not find any instances when the Output turned on and off by itself

Possible causes of triggers may be spurious ring pulses detected by Comfort, or another phone in the house being used. However Kevin says there is no one else in the house.
The Phone Ring Response can be disabled to eliminate the possible cause of spurious ring pulses
