Comfigurator 3.2.4 previously in beta, is now released, please download from http://www.cytech.biz/comfigurator.html
The changes, bug fixes and new feature list (compared to 3.1.9) are shown below
All Comfigurator users should upgrade to this new version to fix the known bugs and take advantage of new features and stability improvements
Improvements
- Action 200 Open Door allows UCM ID to be specified (because of UCM/Access for Fingerprint Reader) in addtion to Door station
- Modules ID in Modules Tab can be swapped with other IDs. eg if UCM ID 1 is changed to 3, then the UCM at ID=3 is changed to 1 with a warning message. Note that this refers to the configuration settings, whereas the physical IDs must be changed to match
- New Splash Screen when Comfigurator is started.
KT03 - KT03 Module is supported in Modules > Keypad
- KT03 Save Template and Load template Buttons next to Write to EEPROM and Read from EEPROM allows KT03 configuration to be imported and exported to other files
Comfort Bus Monitor and IR Learner- Comfort Bus Monitor and IR Learner in Tools have been incorporated into Comfigurator instead of being stand-alone programs so that the Connecction settings of Comfigurator can be used. However Comfort Bus Monitor cannot be used for UCM/Ethernet due to limitations of the buffer size of the Ethernet Tibbo module. The stand-alone versions of Bus Monitor 1.0.2 at Comfort Bus Monitor Link and for IR Learner 1.2.3 can still be found at http://www.cytech-technology.com/temp/software/infrared.zip
- IFR files are now saved in Documents and Settings....Username...Application DataCytechComfiguratorifr and can be accessed by Windows 7
CBus- Added new C-Bus Action in Response Wizard: Stop Dimming
- Added new C-Bus Action in Response Wizard - Label (requires new Comfort firmware 5.190 and above
- Response Wizard for Cbus Action; if Remote Network Bridges are specified, these can now be deleted from the action
Velbus
- Fixed Bug in Velbus Comfigurator where if the Name of the module is 16 characters, an error results.
- Fixed Bug for Learning Velbus modules - when the number of modules is > 40, Read EEPROM error occurs
- Velbus can support 512 channels (was 330)
- VMB4PD module supports 2 pages of 4 buttons instead of 1 page
- VMB1BL and VMB2BL Switch Blind Off Command in Response wizard is supported
- Bug if Velbus module name has 16 characters. Keep the name to less than 16 characters
- Velbus Learn operation will not erase previous assigned counters and sensors
- For Velbus, if a blank EEPROM is used in U2, an exception occured aftre learning when writing to EEPROM
Zwave
- Zwave Configurator Counter assignments were not displayed correctly
- Fixed Bug for Zwave Configurator wrong data in Learn Mode
- Omit spurious counter properties for ZWave controllers
- Omit used counters in dropdowns for ZWave channels 2-8
Universal UCM
- New UCM Type in Modules - Noy Complete
Bugs Fixed- For Phone Numbers to Dial Out, CMS Phone Types were allowed for Phones 3 to 8 which was invalid
- Invalid IFR files in the existing IFR folder caused Comfigurator to have an Exception when the program is run.
- Fixed problem in infrared codes ifr file where invalid characters cause exception
- Clear zone virtual flag when deleting or changing type of KNX To Comfort address mapped to virtual input.
- Read From Comfort with "Keep Names" Option caused exception
- Double-clicking Number of Slaves in Modules & Settings caused an exception
- Right click on an empty Response caused Exception.
- Opening a Recent File in File Meni which has been deleted caused an Exception
- When Say Word Action is the last action in the Response, Comfigurator did not append another 255 to end the Response so the Response may continue to the next line.
- IR Receive Responses - if assigned to NULL Response, called Response 255 if the IR signal is received.Null Response is correctly addressed now.
Known Issues- KT03 Comfigurator - clicking on Pages may cause exception when using Windows 7 or Vista. Writing to KT03 may also cause KT03 to RESET. The Workaround is to run Comfigurator with Administrator privileges
- The "Scan Modules" Function in the Modules Tab can detect a new module and add to the list but it does not delete a module that has been removed. This problem also exists in older version of Comfigurator.
- Conversion from ccl files - After conversion of ccl files (Comfigurator 2) to Comfigurator 3 format .cclx files, please look through the Responses. If any Responses are in RED indicating an error, double click on the Response to open the Response wizard and click OK. This should remove the error
- When the Monitor I/O mode is enabled, and the UCM Connection is changed to some other connection (network, USB or serial), the previous connection is still logged in. This may cause a problem if the same Comfigurator session is connected to more than 1 Comfort or if there are more than 1 UCM connected to Comfort
- "Delete Unrefrenced Responses" does not delete a chain of Responses, eg Response A calls Response B, Response B calls Response C. It only deletes Response B and C.
- When converting a ccl file (Comfigurator 2) for Comfort I to cclx (Comfigurator 3), the Voice settings values for "Voice Menu Speed" and "Phone Intercom Voice Level" are converted to the wrong values.
- In Siren Types Screen, right clicking below Siren Type #20 will cause an exception
- Odd number of digits in Sign in codes do not get written correctly. Workaround is to use an even number of digits
- Comfort Bus Monitor signs in with fixed code "1234"
- KNX Response Wizard for Dim Relative are missing 2 values - Stop Dimming and Dim by 100%
- When Comfort Optimum File System 31 is converted to Ultra File System 34, the X10 received codes in the converted file consist of House Code A. House Codes B to P which should be available in FS34 cannot be seen
- Pressing "Execute Responses" button in the right pane of Responses window may have a long delay when the R! command is issued. However the Response does execute
- KT03 Read from EEPROM - Response numbers > 255 are read wrongly
- When a page in KT03 is renamed, the name is not reflected in other items which reference the changed page
- See http://www.comfortforums.com/view_topic.php?id=2197&forum_id=20 for Selective write problem
Note that these bugs are from older versions of Comfigurator
"Use Branch Actions" for Comfort I
Branch Actions were introduced in Comfort I firmware 4.232. This allows Comfigurator 3 to code If/Then actions correctly. Comfigurator 2 has a checkbox called "Use Branch Actions" in Modules & Settings. This checkbox is not found in Comfigurator 3 as it will automatically apply Branch Actions when the Comfort I firmware is 4.232 and above.- If you are converting a comfigurator 2 file for Comfort I to Comfigurator 3, and if the Comfort I firmware is 4.232 and above, please check the "Use Branch Actions" box on Comfigurator 2 and save BEFORE conversion to Comfigurator 3 otherwise an Exception will occur when opening in Comfigurator 3
- If the Comfort I firmware is lower than 4.232 uncheck Use Branch Actions in Comfigurator 2> Modules and Settings before conversion to Comfigurator 3

Does the bug
- When Send RS232 is the last action in the Response, Comfigurator did not append another 255 to end the Response so the Response may continue to the next line. This may cause errors for CBUS, VELBUS, KNX, ZWAVE and other external UCMs
occur in comfig 2.
If so can we please have an update to Comfig 2.
UPDATE
THIS IS NOT A BUG - IT WAS A FALSE ALARM. PLEASE DISREGARD

Comfigurator 2.2.3 has many bugs that were fixed with Configurator 3, not just this one Comfigurator 3 with the many updates from 3.0.1 to 3.2.4 has proggresively fixed the problems with Configurator 2 and conversion and is a very stable platform now. We maintain that Configurator 3 is more stable even with converted C2 files and it would be a backward step to revert to C2 and try to make changes and not practical with regards to use of resources. It is just like asking Microsoft to improve Vista after Windows 7 was introduced when a free upgrade is available. You may have encountered problems early on with older versions converting to Comfigurator 3 but these should have been fixed.

New exception found in Comfigurator 3.2.4. Go to Siren Types and right-click anywhere below entry #20 and you will see an exception complaining about argument 0 not valid.
