I've just added a response to Key 2 (after Fn press).  It happens to make an announcement on the keypad.  Since this response has been added, every time I send any IR code to the keypad (any keypad, both the old KP02 and the newer LCD one), the Key 2 response is being called (can tell because of the announcement).

There are no responses associated with IR codes in Comfigurator (v3), and it's a Comfort 2 system.

Any clues as to what is going on?

Thanks

Ben

You can check the Response that is being called, right click and Check References to see which other events are calling this response. This should lead you to the originating event. I am sure there must be a link from the IR receiving to the announcing Response
If you still have problems, send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz

I did this (sorry - meant to say in original posting).  The only reference shown to the response is "Keypad 2"

I haven't tried all IR codes as they're not programmed into the Pronto, but all the ones I tried had exactly the same behaviour.

The new response is the last in the file, is number 255 and is quite a long response.  Not sure if any of that is relevant, but maybe there's some overflow into the IR area although it's supposed to have 1023 responses to play with.  I also noticed that number '255' appears in the code a few times for the response, and I thought it was only supposed to be the final byte.

I'll send the Comfigurator file to support.

PS Title of this posting was supposed to say 'weird', not 'wired'!

We have confirmed that this is a bug in Comfigurator 3, probably going back to the beginning. Response 255 is called when any  Comfort IR signal is received by Comfort (Keypad or IR input) and is NOT assigned to any Response. If your configuration does not use Response number 255 OR you dont use the IR receive function then this wil have no effect and would not be discovered

The workaround is not to use Response number 255.

This will be fixed in the next Comfigurator Release

Thanks for your feedback
