It's that time of year again where I have to re-record stored announcements for the doorbell to send via the DP02. This is because firmware updates and occaisional resets make them, and the answerphone greeting, disappear. Is there a way we can "save" these , so we can reupload once lost ? It's a real pain Thanks |

Sorry, no way of loading recordings into the system. They need to be recorded, due to the limitations of the semiconductor device Firmware upgrades should not affect the recorded messages, but Vocabulary upgrade will erase them |

Is it Firmware Upgrading or Vocabulary Upgrading? There is no way that firmware upgrade can effect the recorded Messages. We also try to upgrade the Comfort II with latest firmware on OPT platform and ULT platform by using latest Configurator software and we found that the recorded data did not disappear. However if it the Vocabulary Upgrading, it can effected the recorded data and we will try to investigate the problem. Anyway, it will be really great help to us if you can provide in more detail on how you upgrade the firmware on your system. |
