My own fault - I accidentally shorted the auxiliary 12 volt output and comfort went straight into alarm mode. I downloaded the log ok - Comfort appears to be working ok but now only 2.5 volts on the aux power terminal. I have removed the fault and done a hard reset. Comforts main 12v is working ok. Any clue what is damaged?

Thanks  Graham

Thanks to a ver promt phone call from Chiu just after I posted this, I have resolved this issue.

I thought that after the fault was removed, the self resetting fuse would have restored itself. However, it will not restore while the normal load is still applied.

As soon as I removed the fault and all load, then left it a minute, the 12v power came back! Either that or shut Comfort down completely for a minute.

These resettable fuses which protect the 12 V supplies on Comfort will open when there is excessive current, and will reset themselves once the load is removed to allow the material to cool down. This is why it is relatively difficult to damage a Comfort system
