This is all Comfort 1.

I have three RLY02 boards, connected via twelve core cables to:

  • SEM (17-24)
  • LEM (25-32)
  • SEM (33-40)
All 24 outputs are working as expected.  However, I have noticed that the LEDs on the RLY02 connected to the first SEM (outputs 17-24) glow dimly all of the time.  This seems to suggest that, although things are working, something is not quite right.

I have checked the connections and everything seems to be ok.  Clues welcome on what kind of fault is likely to cause this behaviour.

Thanks.

This may happen if you have any load connected between the Slave Output and Common (Ground)

The Comfort/Slave Output should be connected to OP op of the RLY01 and the Output centre pin to C

This may also happen if you are using an  external voltage to drive the Realy coil, which is higher than the Comfort 12V. You can try connecting a 1 K resistor between OP and C of the RLY02 for each relay
